Ghana’s retail giants, Melcom Group, has through its subsidiary, Skyline Investments, acquired the international franchise to operate Pizza Hut in the country.
Platforms Africa reports that Pizza Hut is global pizza chain with more than 1800 restaurants in over 100 countries.
Melcom’s Board of Directors said in a statement to Platforms Africa that they are “excited and optimistic” about their partnership with Pizza Hut in Ghana.

“This new area of business takes our vision of being a diversified group, one step ahead and this creates more employment opportunities alongside our expansion of the existing core retail business,” the statement quoted the Directors to have added.

Managing Director of Pizza Hut, Middle East, Turkey and Africa, Ewan Davenport, said “Pizza Hut is proud to partner with Melcom Group to re-open Pizza Hut in Ghana.”
Davenport said “we are excited at the prospect of our new partnership and have no doubt that we will grow and flourish together.”
